Producer 

Eva Zheng is a Los Angeles-based producer at ReelShort, the leading short-form video streaming platform. Her recent producing work includes Queen Never Cry, which garnered over 20 million views within seven days of its release on the ReelShort app. Eva also serves as an executive producer at Gleam Studio, a startup specializing in AI-generated video content.

Originally from China, Eva immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 15. She earned her MFA in Film Producing from the American Film Institute in 2024 and holds a BFA from Emerson College.

In 2024, Eva was named a finalist for both the PGA Debra Hill Fellowship and ColorCreative’s Find Your People Program. Between 2022 and 2024, she produced seven short films, including ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS (official selection, LA Shorts Film Festival 2025), PERFECT DAY (official selection, Warner Bros.’ Cine Gear Expo), MARTHA, MARTHA (official selection, Zion International Film Festival), and LITTLE BIRD (official selection, HollyShorts and the AFI Film Festival).

The short film DESCENDANTS OF STRING written and directed by Eva in 2019, garnered seven awards internationally, including the Asian Film Festival and Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Eva received praise from Chinese media for her contribution to promoting traditional culture on an international stage. She was featured in major news outlets such as Xiamen Daily Newspaper, Sanming Daily Newspaper, TaihaiNet, and Zaker.

Since 2019, Eva has produced on over 40 commercial projects, collaborating with major brands on Amazon and with international clients from India, China, and Korea. Her industry experience includes serving as an assistant to director Gigi Saul Guerrero on Into the Dark (2019) and to the producer of Amy Schumer’s comedy I Feel Pretty (2017).
